CCT1023 Group A (22 July 2009)

In today's lecture, Miss Azura taught us bout Technology Computer in class. This topic was non other than learning bout computers (hardware, software, input device, output device, etc....). Besides that, Miss Azura also ask us to find the differences between windows and Apple Mac OS. This is what I found: Microsoft Windows is a series of software operating system and grafical users interfaces produced by Microsoft. Microsoft first introduced an operating environment named Windows in November 1985 as an add-on to MS-DOS in response to the growing interest in grafical users interfaces (GUIs). Microsoft Windows came to dominate the world's personal computer market, overtaking Mac OS, which had been introduced previously. At the 2004 IDC Directions conference, it was stated that Windows had approximately 90% of the client operating system market. The most recent client version of Windows is Windows Vista; the most recent server version is Windows Server 2008. Vista's successor, Windows 7 (currently at release to manufacturing), is scheduled to be released on October 22, 2009. Mac OS is the trademarked name for a series of grafical users interface-based operating systems by Apple Inc. (formerly Apple Computer, Inc.) for their Macintosh line of computer systems. The Macintosh user experience is credited with popularizing the graphical user interface. The original form of what Apple would later name the "Mac OS" was the integral and unnamed system software first introduced in 1984 with the original Macintosh, usually referred to simply as the System software. It was a trimmed-down version of the operating system underpinning Apple's earlier Lisa product.

Time pass very fast....And now everyone is busy with assignment as the dateline to hand up our journal summary is THIS WEEK!!! I can't wait to finish up my assignment a.s.a.p so I don't have to worry so much and can relax a bit. Hahaha... Anyway, Miss Azura began our class by entering chapter 2, which is Revolution of Communication Technology. Nothing special though, explaining and explaining and explaining is what our Miss Azura did.....talk bout when and how communication technology began and their developments....bla bla bla... Again we'll be facing those "history" names (names of inventors) which i can't remember all cz too difficult to pronouns and vr loooong...-.-" but to think again, it's quite fun bout this topic cz I can see that we(human) have been developing from time to time by inventing a lotz of technology stuff. I wish that new inventors able create better and cooler technologies in future....^^

Alright!! Miss Azura started our very first chapter in classroom which is the introduction of Communication Technology. In this chapter, we learn bout what is Communication Technology and Miss Azura done a wonderful job in explaining to us. Besides that, we're told to discuss the weaknesses of communication technologies with our friends in the class that includes printed media and electronic media. Finally before the class dismiss, Miss Azura showed us few slide shows about optical illusions and we really enjoyed ourselves during that moment as like the class turned lively again. -^^-

CCT1023 Group A (12 July 2009)

As usual, our lecturer, Miss Azura entered the lecture room and today's class objective is to discuss about our this semester's assignments. I would actually started the class with amaze and glad but after Miss Azura mention the word "assignment", I began to feel err bored + unwilling + stressfull... Sorry Miss Azura... (^-^) Our assignments consist of 2 parts, which is individual and group. For individual, we entitled to create a blog (which I'm using now here), summerize a journal and do a so called "mini research" on the latest communication development. For the group assignment, we need to find one new technology product not to discuss bout its beneficial, but to critisize it. After finish explaining the assignments, Miss Azura told us to collect few infos bout our classmates.
